Taste of Hope

Taste of Hope is a non-profit organization that generates resources for the orphaned, widowed and poor by connecting people around the world.  Taste of Hope was birthed out of the passion and vision of Saba Tewolde, an Ethiopian refugee living in Santa Barbara along with 7 other local women.  A survivor of the 1983 famine and a child who benefited from the "We are the World" campaign, it has been her passion to help her people since she found her way to the U.S. 7 years ago.

Taste of Hope is a grassroots approach to fundraising; one life at a time we are making a difference in Ethiopia.  There are 4.5 million people suffering from starvation and hunger.  Numerous causes have created more than 4,800,000 orphans.  In the Tigray region there is more than 30,000 children suffering from complete blindness to impaired vision.

Please join Taste of Hope as we bring hope to those in need residing in Ethiopia.
